Backache due to general anesthetic?

Hello

My mum has recently had a general anesthetic due to having a cervical biopsy. Now she is suffering with bad backache.

I was just wondering is there any connection between these two?

its possible that during the operation there was some irritation to the diaphragm (nothing major) which could technically cause referred pain to the back, this causing back-ache! (which if it is this should be fine in a few days)
