I know this is random and off topic...
I'm Asian (Pakistani kind of Asian) and I find the Pakistani accent insanely unattractive. Am I racist?
I'm the same...can not see myself ever marrying a freshie :////

Southern English accents are just amazing...

LMFAO what a coincidence you said that. I was considering signing up to Shaadi.com just this morning!
    Spoiler:
    Show

    Nah Jk, not that desperate.
    Yet

    Lol are you serious?
The two never actually got together. Devdas died at the door whilst trying to meet Paro
Kaisa (bad)dua de diya mujhe :rofl:
LOL! You'll probably get a dhokaybaaz wali if you do end up using it - just saying.

Maaf kardo pls, I'll take back the (unintentional) badwa I gave you. Your life can be Devdas 2.0, this time, you and Paro do get together and have like twenty kids.

Knowing my luck I probably would as well.

    20 kids?!?!?!?
No thanks, even worse bad dua. I'd rather be Devdas 1.0.

Kids are a blessing from God! :naughty: Bad dua (as in literally, bad prayers) or badwa?

Meh, luck is a subjective thing (imo) - you're only as 'lucky' as you feel

    ^^^^^^ Yeah this.

Only got a small problem though - my family have practically refused to ever find someone for me so I am royally screwed!

Oh well, eternal bachelorhood for me then!

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:
I honestly do think I will be in that situation

Would they still not look for someone if you are in your mid 30s and not married etc? (i'm sure that won't happen though!).

Sure, but not flipping 20 of them! That's almost 2 cricket teams
Pretty sure I meant bad-dua. What does the other one mean?

Fair point. Well I don't feel lucky

They might be on my case to find someone and get married, but I don't think they would actually help out.

It wouldn't be my first choice but I wouldn't rule it out. I'd need to get to know the person before making a decision obviously.

LOL! Well, you know what they say, the more the merrier

Kind of like a curse or bad luck, I think. Unless bad-dua, badwa and badua are the same thing  I'm confused now. What does bad-dua mean?

Don't not feel lucky, that's so sad

 Not 20. Take off the zero and that sounds about right.

Yeah I think it's the same thing - I meant curse.

I don't normally, but only on this topic #ForeverAlone
Going the Salman Khan way - eternal bachelor.

My mom said she would help me and is set on me marrying a guy from America (idk why she's already started to look.. :/ ) my dad on the other hand doesn't want to get involved.

My mom doesn't understand the whole "finding a guy at uni", it's like she doesn't trust me .

She DEFINITELY sounds like one of those mums from India - "we want a good NRI boy from America"

It actually depends. I trust my parents and know that if they pick my spouse then he will be appropriate for me. You could say that i think like that because my upbringing is very cultured. But I also know that before picking someone for me, they will ask me about my likes and dislikes.
However, if they choose my spouse for any other reasons apart from my best interest, the there's no way I will allow it.
