Year 11 Prom - hate dresses?

Okay I'm a pretty big tomboy and I hate wearing dresses. They don't reflect my personality or anything. But I don't want to look super odd at prom. Any ideas for the more tomboy? Thanks!

There was this girl at my prom that wore a suit and she rocked it.
You can be like janis from mean girls and wear a purple suit and slick your hair back... like 90's style.

By all means go for the full blown suit! But if that's too much how about a jumpsuit/playsuit, literally like 3-4 girls wore these at my May Ball (sixth form) last year! Here's a few nice one I just found on H&M! Pair it with some fancy heels (or wedges) and a nice clutch and it could look really smart!

idk about skinny jeans... they'd have to be black and really smart. Personally I don't think this is a problem, I mean celebrities walk the red carpet in jeans these days, but so people at your school could be dicks about it, saying you 'didn't try' and such...
