An academic at a top university, perhaps in the USA :daydreaming: I have a couple of other things in mind just in case that doesn't work out
You can be with me at grad school

    Haha, perhaps!

But I've been to the US a number of times and I absolutely love the place! I've got my eye on 3 universities for a PhD

Mainly NY since we have family there but I've also been around the block a fair bit (e.g to places like San Francisco, LA, Miami etc). University-wise I've got my eye on the usual suspects

    A barrister
Ah, I could've guessed that much!

One of my cousins (a criminal barrister for around 12 years now) does complain about how stressful his work is, but I'm sure you know about (and have accepted) that aspect already!

I believe that you have similar aspirations to BrokenLife, btw!

Lol! Criminal law is a lot of stress - he must be very good. I'm prepared for that! I don't know what else I would to with my life tbh.

What about you, what do you want to be in the future?

Yup, I can imagine it must be! I can't see myself doing that kind of work, though I do find it quite interesting But you'll be fine!

Either an academic (1st choice), or (if that doesn't work out) something in the financial sector (e.g. banking, the financial trade, etc)

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.
