    Well I've been able to touch type since the age of eight (i.e. twelve years).

    aren't the blue switches the loudest? i'm on a standard membrane keyboard atm

    I don't find them that loud, but they do have a distinctive clicking sound which you might love or hate.

    MX Red here, i.e. linear switches... love 'em but it's easy to press them by accident as they have a very low resistance

    my school's old computers had mechanical keyboards they seemed like mx reds and typing was faaar more pleasant i think

    Backspace ruins my "flow", probably would go down to like 120 or so if correcting everything... I really wish I had learned to type properly, my left hand does everything "correctly" I think but typically my right hand input is almost entirely my middle finger leaping everywhere with a bit of index every now and then so it often can't keep up.
