    x^36 - 6 x^32 + 16.5 x^28 - 27.5 x^24 for the binomial exapnasion
2.43 for the trapezium rule question
    5y = 6x +1 for the tangent

hey guys, was ques 5 the binomials right with [x^3-1/2x]^12? and then 6 was that iteration stuff (zzz) and 7 was that trap rule stuff?
you know for the iteration, how did u show it was 1.70 or whatever, did u just choose 1.65 and 1.75, stick it in and show sign change ya/?
i thought u had to choose 1.71 and 1.69 cos it said to show it was 1.70 to 2 d.p.

    Question 3: (binomials)
    a) 5 marks
    b) 3 marks

    Question 4: (integration)
    a) 7 marks
    b) 1 mark
    c) 2 marks

    I think ???

no, because if the root was in between 1.71 and 1.69, it could be, say, 1.691 - which would round to 1.69, not 1.70.

not sure if it was Q7 but there was the one about logs with a and b, and also one where you had to use the trapezium rule (I think that was a separate one anyway)

oh yeah the log one i cant remember what no. that was, but there were 3 parts right?...., this reminds me of a maths joke:

    Integrate 1/cabin.dx

    =log cabin +c
or technically loge cabin + c or ln cabin but hey!

I hated that exam but there are going to be people who get 75/75 but i reckon judging from it you'll get an A for 60/75 because last year it was complete piss and u needed 65 for an A. If we're lucky it will 58 but I can't see it being any higher then that.
I honestly thought P2 would be easy judging from the past papers. Clearly I was wrong.

You don't understand, P2 was supposed to be my redeeming paper. I'm used to doing much better in them! What happens if the A grade boundaries go up? They've been as high as 65 in the past
65??!!! are u joking 60/75 is 80% so that the most it shud go to imo

thats what i meant... like the sea should be in the integrate.... part. unless there is some connection between 1/cabin and seas that i am missing?? :|
