How do you see UK in 20 years time?

Do you think Britain is going in the right direction?

Do you believe something should be done differently?

Did you thought about the impact considering you have your own opinion?

More corrupt than it is now
Depends which government is in power.

If labour, then the UK will be far more multicultural, with high unemployment, more people going to University, and a more generous welfare system.

If conservative, then the UK will have a larger gap between the rich and poor, a less generous welfare system, and only rich people going to University.

Pretty much the same as it is today only with more people and less space.

It is going in the right direction, the right wing direction that is.
I think it's going in the right direction. People in the UK are more aware of where tax is going, what pitfalls to look out for, what the government is doing etc...thanks to media, and real time updates, news etc...I think Britons are becoming more savvy with what is really going on in the UK. And because of this, the government are obliged to listen to its people who do know what they are talking about.
Looking not much different to the Middle-East or North Africa.
Much more corrupt; I think with police budget cuts, enforcement of the law will be outsourced to private contractors who essentially act as enforcers rather than police who probably do act in the interests of the people. Wealthy streets will probably have to hire private security whilst poorer areas will probably just allow crime to run loose. Terrorism will be much more common and the British police will basically act as national security rather than law enforcement.

NHS treatment will become more and more based on social care, farmed out to private companies rather than treating illness and actual treatment of illness will be something you have to pay for separately.

Most people will live in flats, sorry apartments which although look nice on the inside, are a totally unnatural way of living, you have to pay ground rent and maintenance and you generally only buy a leasehold rather than freehold

TL;DR dystopian right-wing police state.

Demographic forecasts show that the Muslim population is growing and growing, due to both immigration and their high fertility rates. In 20 years time they will be at around 20% of the total population, and there will still be no sign of them either integrating into Western society, or making a net contribution to the economy rather than being an enormous drain on public services/benefits. As they become a large voting block, they will increasingly be able to dictate the outcome of general elections, which will lead to the UK increasingly starting to resemble an Islamic country.

House prices will be even more unaffordable for young people, largely due to the above immigration problem, and the housing benefit system which supports it. Not that young people will be able to afford to save up for a deposit anyway, since the growing population of leeches will result in even more taxation on graduates and the middle class (income tax is already at the 65% mark once you add up raw income tax, national insurance, and student loan payments and it will go up further due to pension reforms), with increasingly less to show for it in terms of public services - the state pension is almost certainly going to be scrapped for under 40s, and the NHS + state schools will continue to deteriorate due to the growing population that isnt contributing.

Basically the UK is screwed. If you are under 30 and don't own property, then expect to never be able to buy in a nice middle class area since costs in the few white middle class that remain will increase exponentially. If you arent earning at least £80k/year or can get a large cash lump sum from your parents, then expect to live a life that is far lower quality than what your parents enjoyed..

The left has basically destroyed the country and ruined the life of everyone under the age of 30, for essentially no reason. England is already a 2nd world country that is vastly, vastly behind the US/Australia in terms of economy and quality of life, and is arguably the worst place on the planet to be a middle class professional. But hey, at least we have diversity in return.

You're red though. So nothing you say is reliable.
I see it probably being mostly the same as it is now - I mean, 1996 wasn't really that different than today so it's the same thing

This part is probably true.

Unless you get a really good job or have wealthy parents, most people will never own property, and of those who do, it's gonna be a leasehold of a small flat in a depressing urban jungle. I think in this country the middle class will contract, rather than expand as it has done in the past.

Have reported you. This is clearly just racist and xenophobic scare-mongering. You are descipable. People like you need to be kicked off this forum. Muslims may be 'only' 5% of the whole population, but they are 10% of the school age population. Do you understand demographic change? They are breeding like rabbits, which is why their percentage of the population is going to keep increasing. Serious estimates put the UK Muslim population at 26 million by the year 2051. This is an absolute disaster, probably the worst thing to ever happen to Britain in its history, yet there are no serious moves to try and prevent it from happening: http://www.thecommentator.com/article/5632/uk_muslim_population_of_26_million_by_2051

65% tax rate? What the f*** are you smoking?!? Do you even live in the UK? Because with the misinformation you're spouting, I can only deduce you're not even a UK resident.
Top rate of tax is 40% income tax + 2% national insurance + 14% employee national insurance (essentailly a stealth tax on salary), and for the younger generation, 9% student loan repayment 'tax' on top of that. Add that up, and you get around 65%

For basic rate income tax, you have 20% income tax + 12% national insurance + 14% employer national insurance + 9% student loan repayments, which is around 45%.

Additional taxes on the middle class are going to keep rising, since the current state pension and benefit system have a huge financial black hole. This year alone we are going to see a huge increase in taxation on pension savings (with the scrapping of higher rate tax relieft), and large increases in stamp duty. This will keep rising.

And please pray tell, how exactly are poor immigrants (who on average are significantly poorer than UK nationals) making the home buying situation worse for UK nationals, given that they can afford homes much less than the UK nationals?
Becuase they get given enormous amounts of housing benefits+CTC (around £20k/year taxfree for the typical minimum wage family in London), which is the main driver behind the obscenely expensive rental market, which feeds into house prices.

Also, white people do not want their children to go to schools which are dominated by Muslims/Africans, which is now the case in many London state schools (English is a second language for over 40% of school children in London, and the majority of those are Muslim/African, not Europeans). As the country continues to Islamify, the number of areas with a majority white population will decrease, so you will see the cost of living in those areas increase enormously since its where everyone wants to live. You can already see this happening in cities like London, and the rest of the UK is following (Manchester and Glasgow are only around a decade behind London, Birmingham is pretty much there already)

At work now, but have made a note in my calendar to respond to this later.

Have read through all your points, and they're so grossly misinformed it's hilarious.

Please stop lying, you know fine well that the statistics I mentioned are correct.

What exactly do you disagree with?

The percentage of Muslims in the English school age population (currently just under 10%, which has doubled in the last decade and is projected to keep increasing: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/religion/11406700/Number-of-Muslim-children-in-Britain-doubles-in-a-decade.html).

The 65% effective income tax rates in the UK? All are available at hmrc.gov.uk, its not like there are any secrets. 40% income tax, 16% national insurance and 9% student loan repayments are the standard amounts that middle class people are paying.

The fact that 40% of school children in London dont have English as a first language? http://www.standard.co.uk/news/english-a-second-language-for-40-of-london-pupils-6545682.html

The fact that whites are now outnumbered by Muslims/Africans/etc in London schools and that as the percentage of non-whites continues to rise, the cost of houses in the few remaining European areas will rise at very fast rates? http://www.standard.co.uk/news/more-ethnic-pupils-than-whites-in-london-schools-6368734.html

The UK is pretty much screwed and your life is going to be crappy unless you are either high income, or have rich parents. England is already a second world country compared to America/Australia/Canada/Switzerland/etc, and things are going to get worse, not better. That isnt scaremongering, its just the reality of 20 years of left wing immigration and welfare policy.
