I'm looking to get a private tutor to hep me in A level Media studies and English Language but they can cost a lot of money, so I don't know if its worth me paying that money. Also could anyone recommend someone good who does either one or both these subjects in Newcastle/ Northumberland area. Any advise on this is much appreciated!
    Thankyou!

I have no idea how reputable or reliable this site is (they pay TSR to have a rep onsite but for some reason spent all their time trying to poach personal statement reviews instead of directing people towards their tutor services) but https://tutortap.co.uk/ seems to offer a more affordable range of tutors (and they do verify identity and qualifications for tutors that provide the documentation).

You might want to look for tutors on there who are offering undergraduate tutoring as well as A levels - that means they've been tutoring for more than a year and have references from 2 tutees and so you wont get a uni student fumbling their way through with you as their first pupil.

Always ask for references - and ask if you can speak to former pupils. A good tutor wont have a problem with this.
