    Hello..

    I am working on some chemistry work and cannot work out this question. can someone please help me?

    I have to use the data book values to work out delta H3

    H20 = -286
    CuSO4.5H2O = -2270
    CuSO4 = -770

    no matter which way you go round the cycle both directions will be equal. If you go against an arrow you simply reverse the sign of the enthalpy change.

    So that H1 = H3 + H2

    Remember to balance your equation first otherwise it won't work. You need to account for 5h2o
