I'm home schooled
and I have chosen Area D) Christianity and Area F) Islam

I'm looking for helpful notes & essays for both areas.
And could you please recommend any good websites?

For unit 2, I've chosen Area D: The Study of World Religions.
And I'll be studying Islam so any useful notes and essays would be appreciated!

And thanks in advance!!

I do AQA not Edexcel, what are the topics for your Islam unit?

This is for OCR, but you might still find it helpful: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/show....php?t=3869319

Thank you!
And sorry for the late reply!

So these are the things that I'll need to know for Islam [Unit 1]:
  1. Key issues in the study of Islam:„ The life and work of Muhammad in its historical, religious andsocial context; his significance for Muslims.
  2. Key emphases in teaching and practice:„
  • Six beliefs — meaning and significance for belief and practice. „
  • Five pillars — meaning and significance for belief and practice.

For unit 2, I've chosen Area D: The Study of World Religions
  • A study of one or more religions [I've chosen to study Islam only for unit 2] concerning ethical precepts andapplied ethics
  • Religious pluralism; inter-faith dialogue; religious practice in amulti-cultural society, including the UK
  • Contrasting standpoints on beliefs about God and/or existence
