As long as Bernie hits 49.51%, I'm happy because I can then say he won 50% of the vote.

It's such a great spectacle in general.

Like, I loved our GE night -- exit poll was an unbelievable moment -- but they have so many big nights stretched over months.

    CNN has .3

It's all down to this last 10% either way though, isn't it?

    Well it's on track

They're already both declaring victory anyway

How is Cruz even eligible since he's born in Canada?

Well it sorta is a Victory atm for both, Clinton technically has it, Sanders does relative to what was expected, and I would say that whether he just creeps over the line or not he is the real winner on the Democratic side.

He was allegedly born to an American mother, which is generally considered to make him a 'natural-born citizen', but there's a question over whether his mother had renounced her citizenship in favour of Canadian by the time he was born. Doesn't seem to be hurting him, anyway.

Yeah I don't disagree, it's just amusing to see just how many people are declaring victory this evening.

I think coming this close will be a big boost to Bernie, yeah. Now he looks like a serious candidate -- more so, anyway.

If they tie, I want a coin toss.

    Bernie's being very lucky tonight.

The Natural Born Citizen Clause doesn't actually specify birth within the US, he was born to an American mother and has thus been an American since birth, and has rescinded his Canadian citizenship symbolically. It would be a matter for the Supreme court if he did get elected, but the birth as a US citizen is very much on his side.
