ear/balance problem, possibly.

Always had it or just recently?

Your brain shrinks a little when you are dehydrated. Drink plenty of water!

It's definitely not aural. Very physical and I can actually feel my brain moving in my head. Even right now I tilted down to get something and I felt it move to that side. I always have a mild headache too but I guess I don't pay much attention to it. I've had it on and off for a couple of years, but it's come back now.

I really doubt your brain is moving about in your skull... there's a jelly in there that prevents it from doing so. Forgive me if I'm wrong - but you're not being serious are you?

CSF is jelly?! Nah i think it's fluid, hmm.

But your brain really shouldnt (and almost certainly isnt) moving unless you're banging your head against a wall.

Have you been watching too much tv? Cause my mom said that if you like watch crap tv then like your brrrrraaaaaaaain shrinks and then you cant think and then you are stupid and then you die...
I like tv though :s-smilie:

seriously though... see a doctor
You don't have any feeling in your brain. It's the membrane around it that will be hurting. And your brain isn't moving it's just pressure against the membrane when the fluid gathers.

Almost certainly you are dehydrated and need to drink more through the night, say if you wake up randomly. The membrane is quite sensitive to hydration. Like with hangovers, The membrane tightens due to dehydration and that's what the headache you feel is caused by.

Oh thanks for this, but another thing, I recently started bodybuilding with extreme intensity (About 10 times as intense as I've ever trained.) could this be a reason? (I sweat alot doing those 80kg ATG Squats )

Well that wouldn't help with the dehydration would it?! Drink more, maybe some of those drinks with sugars and salts in them for rehydration. And if it isn't gone in a couple of days, see a doctor.
Ewww! Dont think i could actually give any helpful advice to you as its giving me the heeby jeebies just thinking about it. xxx

Bingo. Since dehydration is a common problem amongst those who exercise regularly, these drinks are purpose made.

As someone has said, you can't actually feel your brain as there aren't the sort of nerves necessary to be able to. So its not your brain rattling around inside your noggin.

I don't know what's wrong with me. Now im really confused and can't think straight.. I drank alot of fluids. A litre of orange juice, and about 250ml of water.
heeeeey, i know exactly how you feel. i've been wondering about my condition for a while and was thinking it might be an ulcer or something (not sure if they can grow in the brain). i know exactly what you mean. i sometimes get them just when i walk around outside or just anytime and then out of nowhere a stinging pain comes up on my right side. it usually lasts only a few seconds but those few seconds can get quite painful. it really does feel like the brain if floating around in my head and moving.

i'll be following this thread in hope for a possible answer to our problem.

hope it's nothing serious!!!

Erm, an ulcer is where your stomach acid starts to eat your stomach lining, i would be surprised if your brain had decided to digest itself.
