Well basically I worked for a company who offered online staff discount this was applied to my online account.
I let one of my parents use my online account. After I stopped working for said company my parent continued to use the discount.
Keep in mind the discount is applied automatically at checkout i,e you don't have to input anything for the discount to occur.
The thing is the parent in question doesn't know about terms etc. I had thought the company would cancel the discount once I stop working for them, which is what they were supposed to do.
So today after my parent had ordered something online and went to collect it someone at the store said send me in tomorrow. I found this out after my parent came home and told me today.
What will happen, any advice? Whose fault is this?

It's your fault as you let someone else use your account and the staff discount is meant for your personal use. The company should have cancelled the discount though and they will say that you should have informed them. I know it wasn't you using the account but they will likely say that your parents shouldn't have been using it in the first place. You will have to go in and just explain what happened, tell them you didn't intend to cheat them out of money etc.... I'm not sure what will happen though you will have to go in and see.
