    If any one wants to join this thread, please pick up where I leave off, each person taking a text at a time. Starting with the "Spelling" Pack (easier info to manipulate in my opinion)

    Text A = 5 spelling cues + descriptions. These could be used to suggest ways in which children (maybe illiterate people) can learn to spell

    Important to note that when pupils interviewed (bottom of page):
    "spelling in the eye" is the most popular recognised technique,
    "spelling rules" are not foolproof and cannot be applied universally
    "linking to words connected with word in question" is an advanced way to grasp spelling.
