So I wrote and sent off my personal statement about 3 months ago. Within the statement I had wrote about scientist within a biological journal and mentioned about her article. I got an interview at Manchester Uni for Biochemistry and I just found out today that this scientist is the lecturer for the course I want to do at Manchester Uni. And also did not realise until today that the journal is wrote and published at the university. It gets worse, I cannot find the article anywhere!! Even at the library where I found it, its been checked out. There are no versions available for purchase from what I can see. Also there are no electronic versions anywhere.

I really don't know what to do!
The journal is called 'Biological Sciences Review' Volume 28, edition number 1, and it's the article on 'What is Molecular Biology'. If anyone has any idea of how I can get it, purchase it or even a picture of the article itself, please please please tell me.

    Thanks!

    What is the author's name?

The whole journal is here: https://www.hoddereducation.co.uk/Pr...471832079.aspx , but you need to pay for it.

Speak to your school library - they might be able to arrange (or already have) a subscription to it. Same for your Biology A level teachers.

If you explain you read the article and talked about it in your PS but want to remind yourself of the details before your interview they should be helpful - especially given that that publication is designed for A level students.
