... after rent and bills?
What do you spend most of your money on - food, books, booze?

I think I misunderstood the question, I thought it meant "how much do you spend in the shops at uni" (yes I was wondering how anyone could spend £100 in those small shops!)
Although I'm in halls so pay that 3 times a year, literally the only other thing I buy is food.

I tried to go to Aldi to spend less money on food but it was horrible. I need therapy.

I spend about £8-15 on food per week (three cheers for Sainsbury's!), when I go out I go to flat parties so I bring my own alcohol... About £50 on train tickets every 2-3 weeks though, yay for LDRs 😭

I don't get it how you guys can spend like 30 quid a week.
I spend like 700 quid a month on living expenses (food, going out etc, no bills) and I live on a university campus.
Hell I spend like 80 pounds a week on food alone. Although my diet is quite balanced; steaks, smoothies, fruit - not a pasta
based diet which everyone seems to have
That makes around 320 pounds on food a month. I spend around 40 pounds on going out a week. So there's already 500 gone.
Other 200 are daily costs such as a panini, 2-3 coffees and water.
