Sick of my friends saying that I've changed because I'm in a relationship? watch

    • Thread Starter

They say it's like I'm not bothered about them anymore. I never go out anymore, I never hang round with them anymore. Thing is before I was in a relationship I hardly hang round with them anyway because I was always at work and I didn't want to go out every weekend. It's like I can't have a relationship because they don't approve of it. They always say horrible things and it's not even messing around they actually mean what they say. Just getting on my nerves because I hardly hang round with before and whenever they get girlfriends they are the same and never do anything but because it's me it's different.

Ignore them. I can't say I've had this but I've heard it plenty of times; live the life you want to live, and if that means spending more time with your partner then so be it.

Well, they're not your friends then. **** 'em.

You should do what makes you happy, but accept that your friends might possibly have a point. Some people really do start to lose sense of their friends (detach) once they get into a relationship and it is *****y to be in that position and watch a good friend leave.

Though based on what you've said they don't sound like nice friends in the first place...
