I was paying my brother's afterschool club fee which is usually £32.50

I gave the lady £32 and was trying to find 50p...without luck i handed her £5 instead.
She gave my £2 back...along with 50p change.
In my head i wanted to correct her saying that the £2 was originally mine and she need to give me £2 change from her pocket, but i hate doing this, it feels too aggressive correcting people and being a shy person myself i didnt and felt bothered at losing £2 even now. sigh

Yes. It may've been an honest mistake.

    'Sorry - I gave you £37 ....'

Whether you can get that £2 back, I don't know.

I would have let her know, personally if I hadn't given someone the right change I'd rather they told me.

OMG of course! duh imagine what £2 can buy? a packet of 6 crisps and drink maybe some small chocolate it's practically worth a meal, if she rightfully owed me money and she didn't dish it out (excuse the pun) I would so confront her and be angry! :/
