Hello, I have been asked to write an essay on whether or not The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath is a feminist novel, however I'm not sure on what a feminist novel should do/ have?
Can anybody explain?
Thank you!

Maybe SparkNotes will help? I think you have to give your opinion on it, maybe reword it to something like "To what extent is The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath a feminist novel" to make it easier to answer for you?
