    Did you appeal?

How come you've been in hospital for 4 years if you don't mind me asking?

    Best of luck for Monday!

I have just been in 3 hospitals (6 different wards). It takes time to jump through the hoops. I'm well now though and hopefully I will be discharged on Monday!

They also control when you can leave the hospital and go for a walk if you're on a section... 3, I think? That's what I was on. I ****ing hated being cooped up in that place. I knew I wasn't going to enjoy it as soon I was forced into the place, which is why I appealed against it straight away.
They can control your "leave" from the hospital on any section (2 or 3).

    Which section are you appealing?
Get a good solicitor, try to prove that you've made progress. Agree to treatment off section. Convince them you'll be compliant. Try to negotiate eg - don't necessarily push for discharge off section if you don't think that's feasible, but maybe ask for your section to be rescinded and agree to an informal admission. Ask for a CTO?
    Best of luck!!! x
