I really want to study Eng Science and love the look of oxford!
I got 7 A*s at GCSE yada yada yada, 4 As predicted in AS maths, further maths, phys and chem. Is there any MEng students on here from Oxford who can tell me how the department is?
And would I be better doing all 4 a levels, or maths, phys, further maths and further maths additional AS (ie more mechanics units). I have also applied for the UNIQ summer school and I would be applying through DTUS (Royal Navy).

    Many thanks
    any comments appreciated

Yo I got an offer from Oxford and I am doing a fourth (Biology) and an EPQ. I think I am quite average for my year in terms of the amount of things and book I read but I worked quite hard in the PAT and did alright in interviews.

So my advice would be all those stuff that many strong applicant does, work on your PAT paper, try some tricky physics questions from physics Olympiad and read the A2 textbook a few times.

    The department do look amazing!!!!
Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
