I've just recently got an undercut blended type haircut. And for the first week or so I could sort of slick my hair back easily. I'd get out shower, blow dry my hair while brushing back.
Then while still relatively damp I'd work some hair wax into it, then add some volume powder and then finish up with hairspray. Then run my hands through it to get a more wavy slick look. I'm aiming for a modern type look.
Problem is, recently my hair just bounces forward and loses that look after an hour or so, it just moves forward and sort of parts in the middle. What sort of products do people use for thick and full bodied hair when wanting to achieve a slick back look?

I get my hair wet, slick it back with my hands and put a small (or larger) amount of hair gel in it, should work even if you've got long hair like me, you just need to get it wet enough.
