Hello everyone, this is my first post. I am in the first year of LLB(Hons), I had to submit the courseworks in the first semester for which I have received the results. I scored 66 in ELSS, 59 in Contract, 53 in Constitutional & HR, and scored the worst 33 in Criminal. Since I was new to all this, i have realized as to where I went wrong, I couldn't manage the time. I spent most of the time in researching for Constitutional for which I just scored 53! and ended up in finishing the Contract CW on the last day and had to send an incomplete Criminal CW and hence I failed in it. I'll have to appear for the resit for Criminal, I the worst part is that I'll be capped at 40 no matter how good I score. I am really stressed about it. If I score a 40 in it, would my previous fail result be mentioned or would affect my degree later? and do I still have a chance to score a 'first' if score well in the written examinations going to be held in May.
    Kind regards.

It will be written, and it is likely to cause problems with firms since they all request first year grades.

Just try your best now and stop worrying about it since there is nothing you can do.

The firms? Yeah, but mostly when extenuating circumstances come into play.
