    Hi,

I recently graduated last year (end of May) and have since had a job and been living at home.

I received a text last Friday from student finance saying "Student Finance: Your money has been sent to your bank and will arrive within 3 working days. Find out more at thestudentroom.co.uk/studentfinance."

The next week they paid £237 into my account, so I checked my student finance account and found it labelled as "Interim"

Just a bit confused seeing as I finished uni about 9 months ago- has anyone had anything like this before?

    Thanks in advance

I haven't personally but whatever you do don't spend the money, chances are they will realise its in error and demand it back.

I got one of these last Autumn (still at Uni)! It was an overpayment they mistakenly sent while they were still working out my funding. They eventually realised their error and contacted me about it a few months later.

You can either contact them to tell them/make sure they didn't owe it to you somehow etc, or wait for them to get in touch (which may take months).
