I'm currently half way through my first year of A-Levels, and will begin applying to universities next year. I have recently decided that I would like to become a midwife, however many universities require a physical/social science at A-Level, and I aren't doing one.

Can anyone offer any advice? I'd really appreciate it

    See http://university.which.co.uk/subjects/midwifery

Is there any way you can resit Yr 12 to take a science subject?

Midwifery is VERY difficult to get a place on - so giving yourself an extra year to get the right A levels and to get more work experience is a good idea. See http://university.which.co.uk/search...%5D%5B%5D=B720 to see how few applicants even get an offer.
