So I'm on a majority female course. This isn't particularly down to my course, it's just that the other courses which are mixed with mine are.

I'm studying straight Criminology. Most of the girls I've spoken to do Sociology + Criminology. Most of the guys I've spoken to are doing either straight Criminology like me or Law + Criminology.

Anyway, in most of my seminars I'm the only guy. Nothing wrong about it, but I've noticed I get more attention, especially when the lecturer/tutor is a woman

70% of them are brass. The rest are taken... but my sights are on one of them (who isn't).

oh Whitechapel was brilliant but if finished a while ago. It was about murders that were similar to that of Jack the Ripper

Shouldn't you do a degree in Policing or Policing and Investigation etc? As soon they're going to make it mandatory to have a pre-approved police degree anyway to be on the force.

My friend did sociology with me at degree level and then practically gave up third year to volunteer as a PCSO. Got onto the force that way and they didn't even need his degree (though he barely scraped a pass I believe anyway).
