# AS Physics Youngs Slits - Percentage Error and rearranging equation watch

Announcements
1. For one of my practical tasks, the follow up work includes some questions about the data I've gathered. I'd like some help in calculating the percentage error for the measured vales of W, D, s and λ.

Additional info: double slit separation was 0.1mm
(w is fringe spacing, w1 is from the left of the centre, w2 is right of the centre)

Fringe Spacing/mm*10^-3
D/M W1 W2 Waverage (mean)
1 5.5 6.75 6.13
0.9 5.25 4.75 5
0.8 4.25 4.00 4.13
0.7 3.5 3.75 3.63
0.6 3 3.5 3.25
0.5 2.75 2.75 2.75

The second part to this is, how would I rearrange W= λD/S into y=mx+c
I have plotted the graph of W against D, drew a line of best fit and got a gradient of 4.05.
With that rearranged equation I am supposed to find the wavelength of the laser light.

Help would be appreciated.

Thank you
