well... this is what's happened... been liking a girl for about 3 months and we were like BEST FRIENDS, and she knew i liked her, but i never said anything. then i told her i really loved her on the 3rd month and she said she loved me too.. thenn we always use to meet up, have fun, usual kissing and stuff that normal lovers do.. we went cinemas.. foned each other loads, talked 2 each other every night, always told each other we loved each other, and then she told me that she was referred to by someone as my gf and she says she didn't know that she was my gf?!!!!

and she said how comes i didn't know i was ur gf and all of that... and i am just totally confusedddd, cos i know i didn't say ohh let's be a couple, but i did pretty much tell her i loved her and we did do soo much together? is she messing or did i make a big mistake.. help me out a.s.a.p as i need to talk 2 her soon guysss

lol my girl was like this! we went to cinema together, kissed etc all d usual stuff n then a couple of months later she says are u going to ask me out!!! im like what the hell, what do u think we doin!!

They are pretty much your gf its just not official yet, you need to ask them "officially" or they'll never be 100% sure. Its a stupid kiddy thing but just do it.

Maybe she's just one of those gals that gets freak out with those kind of terms. Like it's a big commitment thing. Or she just assumed you would announce when you were 'the couple'.

ok. well what you have to do is tell her that you want her to consider herself your girlfriend and you her boyfriend and if that were the case you would be all happy. Like a cookie monster inside a cage of cookies.
Then she'll say 'ok, i was just checking', or something along those lines.
then...
HAPPY ENDING. You are officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
It's not so complicated. She doesn't want to jump to conclusions and just wants a little reassuranse. She's being normal. Don't fret too much.
