UAE And other Arab countries preparing to invade Syria

Report suggests that Saudi Arabia and the UAE Are planning to invade Syria to fight against the so called " Islamic State "

An international campaign against the Islamic State group in Syria should include a US-led ground intervention, the United Arab Emirates' state minister for foreign affairs, Anwar Gargash, said on Sunday.
"Our position throughout is that a real campaign against Daesh [an alternative term for the Islamic State group] has to include ground elements," Gargash told reporters in Abu Dhabi.
"We are not talking about thousands of troops, but we are talking about troops on the ground that will lead the way," he said. "And of course, an American leadership in this effort is a prerequisite."
Gargash's comments come after Saudi Arabia said on Thursday that it was prepared to send ground troops into Syria to join a US-led coalition against the Islamic State group

There are also reports of a turkish invasion of Syria aswell

Turkey has sent shock waves through the Middle East by preparing plans to send troops into Syria for the first time, turning the civil war into an international conflict on Europe’s borders.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has authorised a change in the rules of engagement agreed by the Turkish parliament to allow the army to strike at Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil), as well as the Assad regime, according to local newspapers.
The aim is to establish a buffer zone for refugees and against Isil, but Mr Erdogan has also suggested that the main target of the intervention, if it goes ahead, will be to prevent the emergence of a Kurdish state on Turkey’s doorstep.

Misleading title alert.

They are not preparing, they are prepared - politically - for one and are saying it should happen, not that it will.

Do you write for the tabloids?
About time

So have we.

That's categorically not the same thing as saying they're about to and you know it.

If you don't, go back to school and demand to be taught proper English.

We should try and keep our hands off so we don't get blamed when it inevitably goes to s**t.
NATO are destroying Europe with their foreign policy. If we stay out of it, then the refugee crisis should be up to other Arab nations to solve not us.

LOL Bahrain wants to join in too. Why don't they call in the Micronesian army too! This is a joke. They're having to hire mercenaries for Yemen and they share a border with them. Yet they think they can have a crack at Syria.

On the wider scale of things, the US will not go to war over Syria. They've repeatedly said this. Russia has said it would. And China has said if it feels an axis is forming with the west on one side and Russia on the other then it will have to join Russia. In other words, unless Saudi thinks it can take on Russia, Iran and China independently then it should stay put.
