I am brazilian and I already speak English fluently. I want to learn another language and can't decide between German and French and I plan to work in the literary market with publishing and maybe cinema so I don't know which one would be better.

Can I get some help? Even if it's just your opinion on which language is easier since I have 6 months to grasp the basics.

    Thank you!

French will be easier for you and it has more links to culture than German, which is more of a business language.

There is an app that you can get on your phone called Duolingo where you can learn both languages and you can learn quite a bit from there

As a Portuguese speaker you would definitely find French easier than German. French and Portuguese are both Romance languages so there is quite a lot of similarity. German grammar is completely different and IMHO a good deal trickier to master.
