There really isn't, it;s the same as there being no difference between a packet of own brand ibuprofen from Tesco, or a packet of Neurofen. Apart from the price, the drugs are identical.

Well if it doesn't have the same ingredients then it isn't the same drug, surely? :rolleyes:

EDIT: My apologies, the modalert ones are film coated and sustained release, which may explain the difference in adverse reactions.

One of my flatmates ordered some online to use during exams. They were really quite cheap, worked out at less than 70p a pill. The results seem pretty amazing as well. Unfortunately I think he miscalculated when testing it and took one about 8pm, he couldn't get to sleep until about 4am.

Aaah, this is where adrafinil may be better. Whilst they did alleviate my tiredness, I still found I was able to sleep soundly when I wanted to.

people buy prescription drugs on the internet all the time so no big legal issue

but if it treats narcolepsy then conversly it probably causes insomnia. but maybe that wouldnt be so much of an issue if you took it in the morning, depends how strng it is.

im considering getting some but a bit worried how/if it would interact with citalopram, trazodone or prochloperazine, which im also on and its not the sort of thing i feel comfortable asking my doctor about obviously lol. maybe NHS advice but theyll just lecture me about buying prescription drugs off the net !??!??

Hey everyone started taking modafinil a couple weeks ago, out of interest what dosages do you guys take? I personally take 200mg a day (in the morning) and have found its definately improved my alertness and short term memory to a minor extent.
