Hello,
Has anyone been to an interview at Kingston uni for BA Hons undergraduate in Social Work? It's my first interview and I don't know what to expect! It says there will be a written test - does anyone know what the test entails so I can make sure I'm 100% prepared?
Thanks

Hey,
I haven't yet had my interview at Kingston as mine is on the 1st March. However, I have been to an interview today at ARU and it consisted of a written assessment, group interview and individual interview. We had to pass the written assessment in order for us to get on to the next stages, luckily i did. Anyways, for the written assessment we were given a report from the Community Care website and we had two answer 5 questions based on what we read. During the group interview we first watched a 7-8 minute video based on a lady who suffered from dementia. In our groups we were given three questions that we had to discuss among each other based on what we saw and retained from the video. The final stage was the individual interview and for this I strongly recommend that you know your personal statement as I was asked questions based on my personal statement from one interviewee and I was asked questions based on social work in general by the other interviewee.
I hope this helps and let me know how it goes x
Most importantly GOOD LUCK!
