    It's pancake day!

So what's your topping of choice?

    Traditional lemon'n'sugar?

    Or something more edgy...?
    More exotic: Nutella.

    Plus banana and marshmallows.

Lemon? Who wants lemons? (sorry to the guy with a lemon avatar )

It's all about bacon and golden syrup, topped with sugar then powder sugar, for that extra bit of diabetes.

Lemon juice, not slices of actual lemon. Unless you're John55

Although I like the traditional toppings, so jam or sugar, I like savoury toppings more: pancakes filled with bacon, cheese and mushrooms, warmed up in an electric stove. That is delicious!

    Lemon and sugar? Why

Besides, do you mean pancakes or crepes? In the case of both I enjoy pure Canadian maple syrup but also love a lemon meringue crepe.

Combination of any or all of the following:

    - Maple syrup
    - Honey
    - Melted chocolate (dark, milk, white)
    - Ice cream
    - Banana slices and/or other fruits
    - Sugar and lemon

    Exotic, I guess.

This morning I had three crepes with relatively traditional toppings- one with lemon juice and vanilla sugar*, one with golden syrup and one with maple syrup.

*protip: if you ever use a vanilla pod for the seeds, chop up the remaining pod and store it in an airtight container with some caster sugar, like the jars herbs and spices come in. After a week or so you end up with awesome vanilla flavoured sugar)

Any of the crepes from Sprinkles gelato, it's about a weeks worth of calories in a sitting (and you can even get a sundae on it!)

highly recommended if you're down the South coast
