Wash it out with some antiback for wounds etc  Keep it clean, avoid using sented products on it and keep it open to the air as much as possible

try TCP maybe?

That's going to hurt like a bitch if it's an infected cut down there! Would probably work, but wouldn't be pleasant.

I'd stick with keeping it as clean as possible and trying not to put too much gunk on.

Hmmm...if you've done what I think you've done, it's very likely that it could get infected if it isn't already. I don't know about any treat yourself things that might help you, but generally tcp type stuff, can't remember the name but it comes in a spray that is blue at the top and pink at the bottom (or the other way around...) think it might be savlon? Whatever it is, it'll sting like hell...just try and keep it clean, as helenia has said.

But since it'd obviously be pretty rubbish to get a horrible infection where you've cut yourself, maybe you ought to think about going to the doctor's? It's not like you were doing something really weird, after all. Though all I can imagine he/she might do would be to give you some antibiotics, but maybe I'll be proved wrong. It never does any harm to see your doctor, even if you do feel a bit silly or like you might be wasting their time on an insignificant problem, at least it'll put your mind at rest.

Thanks everyone! I think I'll try the keeping it clean thing and if I start dying I'll head to the docs :/

oh true I don't deny it would hurt.
tcp, iodine, neat vodka, or crazy idea, antiseptic cream sold in every pharmacists, if you can get hold of zambuk, but you'd have to go to a shop that imports from south africa, do it, that stuff could disinfect a public toilet for the antiseptic in it
salty water.
Savlon do a spray version if their cream, I always use it for keeping ear peircings clean, but it smells nice and is probably safe to use on sensitive areas.
