hI, how do you work out percentage differnce cos ive got mark schemes which have diferent ways to work it out such as

B- A / B

B - A
0.5 ( B-A)

Thx
CHIBA revoution ... i do take it back sry bout my comments ..it just that evryone talking about diferent things

Its okay, just relax I did the exam last year and I was more shocked over the stress it caused before the exam...just ask your teacher to drop clues..

is moments and impulse in the As specification ???
please can you tell me something about graphs & stuff releating to drawing graphs in the exam because it's making me really worriedddd

????
anyways my teacher has told us that there are going to be 2 diferent graphs you have to draw ......

do you guys have any clue about this & how to draw these graphs if so then feel free to tell me

thank you

FEEL free to post your knowledge of the experiment for group 1
Not so fast, there...read the announcement at the top of the forum, please :smile:

sorry about that ...i just want to know whether the eqaution to find velocity my teacher expalined diuring my revsion class 2x/t is correct
The formula is correct.
It can be proved, because if

S= (U+V)/2 *T

Then 2S= (U+V)T

If from rest, and u=0 then

2S= VT
AND V= 2S/T

hey guys, cheers for the heads up bout the phys, ive herd some skls were told wats in bt we went given any idectation, apart from that we will probs have 2 use micrometers and calipers, as the teacher went through how 2 usethem 2day sqecifically.
good luck every1

Heyy,
doeds anyone know whether we'll be using vernier callipers?
And how do you figure out the percentage difference thing?

If anyone (like me) didn't know how to use Vernier Caliper's and are worried that they will come up (it's them or Micrometers right?), here is a link:

http://www.physics.smu.edu/~scalise/apparatus/caliper/

and to re post the one for the Micrometer in case anyone missed it:

I do not think you need to worry about reading the values, since we get a digital display in the exam I am pretty sure of it.
