please help
"Explain why ionic compounds such as sodium chloride have such high melting points and will conduct electricity when molten, but covalent compounds, such as methane, have low melting points and do not conduct electricity.?" [6]
This question is in 2 parts. Explain why ionic bonding leads to high melting points. And explain why ions conduct electricity.
