I would like to know what is involved in the English Lit course? Is it a hard course to do at A-Levels?
    This is a broad question.

All the new specs says you must read the three genres of prose, drama and poetry. You will read in total 8 texts over the course of your A-level. Some exam boards will have 4 components, whilst others will have 3. You will also have to study a Shakespeare text, pre-1900 text, a post-1900 text and a post-2000 text. The Non-Exam Assessment (NEA) is offered in your final year and is worth only 20% of your overall marks for the qualification.

The most popular exam boards are:

    AQA
    OCR
    EDEXCEL/Pearson
    WJEC/Eduqas.

If you look at these ones, it will give you a better insight to what you will study.
