What is the future of foreigners studying in Turkey?
I am thinking of studying in Bogazici University but I am not sure how worthy it is.
I have several problems with it
It looks like Bogazici Uni doesn't like foreigners. They only have 1 quota for internationals.
The subjects I want to study is not there. The closest thing I found was Management Information System ? I looked at the course and it is mixed Economics, Computer Programming, Business and even Turkish and Turkish History. Is it really possible to master all of them properly in 4 years?
Their application STARTS in July. All my US and UK application, I have to make decision by June at the latest. So if I want to apply Bogazici (which acceptance rate would be crazy as it only takes 1 international), I have to actually pay like $30000~40000 to other universities as insurance.
Althought those disadvantages and challenges, I really love Turkey, so I actually want to study there.
But how worthy is it? I want to study Computer Science but what I can find in Bogazici is some mixed Computer Economics.
Does anybody study in Turkey here? Where do the foreigners with Turkish degree end up after the graduation?
