I think I had a great childhood bc when i look back i was always happy and my mum used to organise small events for people in our community and she would take us along and i would always play with the other kids. I was always outside playing and socialising with people face to face not inside and socialising online. My parents always gave us everything we wanted after we worked hard in school- sort of a well done present. I never got bullied or had anything bad happen to me (apart from breaking my knee when i was 9 lol) I wouldn't trade my childhood for anything else or change and I'm soo thankful to my parents ofr creating such amazing memories that will always stay with me forever. 98% I have a smile on my face because of all the wonderful people around me and I like to return it back to everyone who makes me happy.

Not really; I was very prone to tantrums, general anger, competitiveness, disagreeableness, and all past the age when this is normal. But I still have some nostalgia. Most of it is probably for early secondary school when things improved a little, 11-13 kind of time.

There was much I was sad about in my childhood but I generally stayed quite positive. Back then, I didn't get depressed and bounced back with relative ease.

No, unfortunately. I spend most of my days wishing I could start my life all over again.

Nah, not pleasant at all. Parents would always fight... always... fight.

The effect on me is that I always seek compromise in situations but I'm not afraid to hold my ground either. Also it taught me to see things from both sides because of how my parents got into arguments.

Another effect it had on me is that it taught me how to sympathise with people and be that shoulder to cry on, because that's what I was when the fights got really bad.

It also made me promise myself never to fight with my future wife and never say anything hurtful, always be supportive and turn negatives into positives.
