Er he wasn't complimenting humans by comparing them to God when he said that.....quite far from it
Really, what was the intention? Well i guess, because then he said "but man delights me not" .

    What do bacteria evolve into?
Life forms are life forms. Names we give such as "human", "bird" and "bacteria" are ill-defined in the large context of evolution. Life forms do not evolve into. They simple evolve, that is, they acquire the traits they need to survive in the current environment. For some bacteria, it means the traits they need to survive in a human host that has been given antibiotics.

Yes, you have it exactly! He's being kind of sarcastic; man is so God like, so this so that, yet in his eyes is merely the "quintessence of dust". I seem to remember that Wellington College has some resources online available to anyone on Hamlet. But this was a few years ago that I did English A Level so it might not exist, but try googling it, I remember it being very good...after all it's Wellington!

Brilliant, I'm sure someone has already notified the OP of the relevant flaw then. Didn't bother to read all of it myself, the title was enough to ask.

The rebranding worked on me... I was all ready to be like " there there young one, life is complex yes...but you'll one day develop some coping mechanisms. Wait.... Hang on..."
