Hello. I'm here to ask, as an academic student currently studying French, and starting their GCSE's in Year 9, I wanted to know if it was possible to switch from French to Spanish when deciding your options. Currently at this moment, I know practically no Spanish, yet I am willing to learn the fundamentals until September comes along so I can start studying Spanish.
Also, is it really worth the effort switching to Spanish? I am definitely quite intrigued in this particular language, as I find it much more useful, plus I hate French with a passion.

Thank you for taking the time to read, hopefully I can find an answer.

    Ask at school.
