Simplify the following as a single fraction:

    x+ 1/( 1 - 1/x^3)

    Is this correct?

    x + 1 / 1 - x^-3

    x/1 - 1/x^-3

I don't know where to go from here

Simplify the following as a single fraction:

    x+ 1/( 1 - 1/x^3)
None of that is correct. We have:

    \displaystyle \frac{x+1}{1 - \frac{1}{x^3}} = \frac{x+1}{\frac{x^3}{x^3} - \frac{1}{x^3}} = \frac{x+1}{\frac{x^3 -1}{x^3}} = \cdots
