I love learning new words so thought it would be cool to make a thread about word things.

What are your favourite obscure word(s)? Words that are unique and not regularly used in normal conversation but are kind of beautiful/make you love language?

please also add the definitions to save Google time and maximise TSR time for the rest of us :ahee:

I like athazagoraphobia- which is the fear of forgetting or being forgotten. :afraid:

And callipygian- having shapely buttocks. :perv:

There are so many more and I will contribute more intermittently.

You've taught me none. The bear asked. I couldn't say no. It would sort of undermine my reputation as a rep hungry green digging whore if I did.
