So I applied to do anthropology at university and have 4/5 offers currently. However I'm regretting my subject choice somewhat, and considering doing neuroscience or a more biological subject instead.

    So:
    - what are my chances of getting on a course without chemistry? I've found quite a few neuroscience courses that don't require chemistry but I assume it is preferred (I have maths and biology, predicted As in both)
    - should I use clearing or extra? Or do a chem a level in a gap year and reapply? Considering my family's current financial situation it may be best for me to take a gap year anyway.
    - what if I change my mind again after rejecting my offers (if I use extra)
    - how competitive is neuroscience?

Ask the universities you have offers at if they would consider you for neuroscience. Bare in mind you might need to write a new ps.

One of the unis (UCL) requires chemistry - should I withdraw from them?
