Could this be an STI?
A friend of mine has red marks on her tongue and finds it painful to eat anything, we were just wondering if anyone knew what it's likely to be? Perhaps an STI of some description?

It could just be ulcers. Are there any other symptoms?

The only other thing would be a sore throat, not much else sorry.
The marks certainly don't look like ulsers, and there wouldn't be this many in such a close proximity...
Tried to see a doctor earlier but couldn't as they were fully booked, so we were just wondering if anyone had any ideas or similar symptoms before?

See a doctor/nurse to be on the safe side.
