Hey, so I got my hair cut the their day but my usual barber was on holiday so I went with someone else. I explained exactly how I wanted it cut and he did the exact opposite. He was really arrogant and decided to do what he thought would suit me.
He gave me a disconnected hair cut and I absolutely hate it. How can I get rid of the disconnect? I'm presuming I'll have to grow my hair really long? I will see my usual barber when he's back but I wanted to know if I can do anything in the time being.

First of all, explain what do you mean by "disconnected haircut"?.

Well that happens to be the most popular haircut to attract women at the moment. It's just hair, nobody will be like...

'Oh damn look at that hair, let's not breath the same air as this person'.

Just chill, nothing you can do now.

You should definitely complain to that barbers and ask for a refund.
You could go to another barber to get them to sort it out. Maybe it could be evened out to look more natural.
You could try styling it to cover it up.
You could try growth products to speed up the waiting time for it to grow out.
I hope you can find a way of solving the problem or growing to like it
