Hi, I'm aware that KCL accepts the Btec level 3 extended diploma in IT (2010) but only with distinctions in certain units. However this qualification is getting changed into computing starting from September 2016 which is what I'll be doing. I just wanted to know would I be able to get into KCL for computer science with this new Btec and will it also help if I have a maths a level alongside?

You should be fine, a lot of the units are the same or very similar to the IT BTEC with the addition of things like Mobile App dev, Foundations of CS and some more Programming and Security ones which can only be a positive thing, email them anyway but im sure the requirements will still be DDD
