If any of you have questions about Bristol night life and stuff to do etc, just ask!

I didn't go to Bristol but did go to UWE, and will be again to do my Masters from this September

Are there still Dubstep nights anywhere? Failing that, Drum and Bass?

    Or has Bristol embraced House/Techno?

Also, what bus runs from UWE to town?

You can find all of them really, Lakota has Drum and Bass nights. You've got Motion that has been polled as one of the best nightclubs in the world and plenty more

Thekla is my favourite though (it's a nightclub on a boat)

The X14/14 runs from UWE (Frenchay) to the centre via the M32 and takes about 10 minutes.

    How much does that cost?

How bad is the animosity between UoB and UWE students?

No idea sorry, as I had a full year pass in my first year and hardly used it in my second and third years, but it's not expensive as a day rider is only £2.80 at the moment.

I wouldn't say it's bad. Just a friendly rivalry really. Varsity is always fun to watch

Hello everyone! I wonder if is there anyone else who cannot register online as a new postgraduate at the university of Bristol. I have tried many times but it says that I am not eligible to register. Any help will be more than welcome!

I don't know if it is different for postgraduate students, but it says that online registration is not open until the 5th.

The login page for online registration says "For all access problems please contact the IT Service Desk."
... where "IT Service Desk" is a clickable web link that takes you to the IT Service Desk's contact details.

If they can't help, they'll be able to point you in the right direction.

    I'm not sure either
Do we get it for free from UCAS?
    Re: Microsoft Office

If you log into your Bristol porthole thing, click on the 'email and (I think) docs' tab at the top on the bar, there will be a link to sign into the Office 365 thing. There there's a button to download Office 2016.
