I have received an offer to study Philosophy and Economics this coming September and am currently deciding my firm and insurance choices.

I want to make the best decision and have a few more questions that need answering ...

So I have heard that most joint honours degrees at Bristol are very much taught as two mini degrees, completely separate from each other. Is this true? Is it therefore left to students to link the two disciplines?
As well as this, are the modules split completely half and half? And is there room for any open/discovery units?

Lastly, for all students at Bristol - how do you find your uni experience? What is the nightlife like? Are living/accommodation costs expensive?

I would really appreciate any help at all
    Thank you!!

Hi! If you wouldnt mind could you post your predicted grades and gcses etc? I really want to apply for philosophy and economics at bristol but im unsure on my chances seeing as they have 10 people. My predictions are above their typical offer (A*AA vs AAA) but im unsure whether this is enough for only 10 spaces.
