I don't think so. Mine just passed 4 hours ago since deadline, and I'm in GMT +7. Those in the North America might not have passed their 24-hour period.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you can only discuss the afternoon papers the next day after 1800 GMT on this forum regardless of when you took your exam..So i guess we'll have to wait for some time

well the SL ppl are discussing theirs.....someone even said something abt p3...not taking any chnaces though!
is anyone going to do anything if we discuss and anyway for a person living in last time zone, it doesn't matter if they discuss right now like after one hour cause everyone is done with their paper.
hey reetz how was ur paper?
They're really strict about this though... if they're feeling particularly crabby you may get kicked off Immaculate, you rebel you :p:

today's not the day to rebel huh? anyway so how were the papers? i found paper 1 a bit difficult but paper 2 was nice and easy though i did make one stupid mistake....in section b the 6th question the last part about gibb's free energy-predict at higher and lower tempertaures the spontaneity of reaction...

Paper 1 was quite difficult. I think it was probably because last year's paper 1 (May 06) was ridiculously easy. They really owned us this year :frown:

Paper 2 was more reasonable, fortunately. I was really glad that the salt bridge questions didn't weigh so much in terms of marks.
The stoichiometry question part where they asked about Crocetin was kinda scary the first time I saw it, esp. since it's worth 6 points. Fortunately I got it right. It was C20H24O4 as for the molecular formula. I checked the internet right away the minute I stepped out of the exam room! :p:

About the gibbs free energy change.. What was it supposed to be? Was it supposed to be spontaneous at all temperature since ∆H is - and ∆S is +, hence ∆G is always negative?

hmm my answer was C2H3O...Nothing similar to the model answer ... and i think only one or two of my classmates got it right,,,
Paper was HAAAAAAAAAAARDDD
Paper 2 in Section B , I did organic question ( i think nu. 8) and the one that was before it 7,, about Mass Spectrometer....Silly Mistakes ,anyway if i get 4 in math and 4 in chemistry Hl i will be happy :s-smilie:

Paper 1 was so HARD!! All the people in my class were just devastated after that exam. There were questions I had never seen before, especially the first three. Paper 2 was better, section B was alright, but section A was really long and I found it a bit hard, comparing to previous years' exams! I wasn't able to finish the exam, and so were the other people I talked to. I really hope the boundaries will go DOWN! :s-smilie: :frown:

Yea C20H24)4 is right and i think theyre both spontaneous!? as the entropy was pos and the enthalpy was negative... prbably a 7.. paper one i spaced out the 1st 15min made silly mistakes could still be a low 6 though,,,

for Q6, i put it was spontaneous at all temperatures too, cos dH was negative, dS was positive hence G will always be negative.

i walked out of the exam room, not knowing what to feel about paper 1. i still dont know if i should be happy or worried about it :s-smilie:

paper 2 was a lot nicer, but i couldn't do that Q about Crocetin. i scribbled down some working but didn't get very far with it.
